Elon Musk Going to Launch StarLink internet in Pakistan

The news has just broken that Elon Musk’s goal is to launch StarLink’s satellite broadband internet in Pakistan and we can’t be more excited about that. A satellite broadband provider based in the United States visited the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority headquarters where he met with some Pakistani delegates.

The following representatives of Star Link, a US-based broadband provider, were present at the meeting: Ryan Goodnight, Director of Middle East and Asia, Head of Global Site Acquisitions, and a few others. The meeting took place in Islamabad in December and important discussions were held on this new initiative which could start any time soon.

Who is Elon Musk

If you are not familiar with this man, Elon Musk is an American businessman who founded PayPal and TSLA. Surprisingly, he also laid the foundation of SpaceX and thus he has become noticeable among all. He has been working with space for a long time and is popular all over the world. They are the ones who have shown interest in bringing internet to Pakistan by launching StarLink satellite broadband.

What is StarLink

Elon Musk is the founder of StarLink, whose primary mission is to launch thousands of satellites that will provide high-speed Internet connections around the world. However, Starlink Internet is not free but it provides you with various facilities including fast internet connection, power supply and much more. With StarLink Internet, no one will have to deal with slow internet problems while playing video calls, audio calls or playing online games. If this meeting is successful, it will definitely be a big step towards improvement.

Starlink Satellite Broadband Internet

At the meeting, representatives of US StarLink’s Satellite Broadband Internet presented their ideas and outlined their future plans. The meeting was attended by PTA Chairman Major General Amir Azeem Bajwa (R) and Executive Director Frequency Allocation Board.

The PTA chairman revealed how Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for a digital Pakistan would help improve the quality of Internet technology. He also assured that all appropriate measures would be taken to make the Star Link project a success in the country.

In short, both sides have agreed to launch the operation, but work has not yet begun. Pakistanis have also ensured that an appropriate regulatory framework is introduced in Pakistan to support Starlink’s operations. We are definitely waiting for the news that will prove to be true for a better future of Pakistan.
